ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

well...i just walked past the stadium and the sideline on the tunnel side has been dug up about 3 inches down i guess for almost the whole side

On the sideline they can lay down artificial turf like at Robina - it's high traffic but not part of the playing surface. Maybe that's what they're up to?

Well they can take their season ticket and shove it as far as I'm concerned.

The kids have lost interest anyway so I only have myself to think about.

So I'll just pay on a match by match basis when I'm able to go.

I think there's lots of other stuff on this year......might have to miss a few........

Come on Arab, you know following football is truly about experiencing pain.

But seriously if the club has no say in the matter I'm not going to complain. I just liek transparency. But transparency isn't always a diplomatic option.

Either way, I wouldn't miss seeing first hand everything that happens in GA's opening season for the world. Even if its a train wreck it certainly promises more potential entertainment than the last two seasons... But even the idea of Matty Simon surrounded by South Americans doing the samba for a goal celebration why we sit top of the table is enough to get me through the off season.

Can't f'ing wait!

Mariners Till I Die.

Chin up son.

Tell you what though FP.......I'll have my whinge but at the end of the day I'll still turn up.

But is anyone else experiencing the same as me with their kids ?

When I was a kid I used to beg my old man to take me to the football......not for the drinks and lolleys or any stupid bloody gimmicks.....just because I loved the whole experience.....crawling under the turnstyle so my dad didn't have to pay for me,listening to the roar of the crowd inside as we turned up late as usual, sitting on the wall down the front virtually at eye level with the players boots.......I loved it all.

If I told my kids to crawl under the turnstyle they'd probably dob me in to the coppers lol.

My kids don't give a toss anymore and when they do come all they want is to eat chips etc and f**k about with absolutely no interest in the game whatsoever.

It's one thing losing the faith of the adults but.....

No kids no future......... :-\

For me a trip to Canberra is a win win situation. I get to go to the game and wife has a weekend away. But maybe play one in Hobart and Darwin would be good.

Goal posts have been erected at Tuggerah Oval...normally have the litter dumping baseball lot there, perhaps we're not going to Canberra? :innocent:

The reason they have lost interest is having to put up with the old man that contstantly tells the same stories about the glory days of dundee utd the whole way through the game.

They are eating because the chewing noise drowns out the old man.  ;D

I cant see the FFA making a big effort to keep us all our home games, and have a massive stretch at home.

I enjoyed canberra, and would go again. But would prefer closer to home. Homebush Vs bling would be fine by me

If Bluetongue isn't available play it at pluim. We can train on it for a week or two in advance, learn all the bumps and bounces on it and it would be more intimidating to opposing teams than bluetongue!

f**k moving anything, we are from the central coast we play on the central coast end of story.

That's fine.......put a team in these places and we'll go there for away games.

Rumour has it that games will be moved to Oakwell as the club are trying to expand the fan base

HA!!!  ;D

Impeccable pitch, close to 'tarn, the walk there is delightfully English - could do worse.  ;)
