ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I was reading in another forum that Mile is being chased by 3 or 4 Turkish clubs and will go in the January transfer window. Has anybody heard the same or can enlighten me.

Maybe it is crap I don't know.

This is probably why it's worth chasing Jonas Salley....... we're kidding ourselves if we think Mile is staying here past the end of our season (and even January).

What is it with Turkish clubs looking at the A-League though??  I've watched a bit of the Turkish League, and it's remarkably different to ours.

Salley: What Am I Here For?

Get more on: jonas | salley | adeaide | united | aleague
ADELAIDE United's Jonas Salley is ready to quit the club and move on after being dropped from the starting line-up with no reason given.
The recently naturalised defensive midfielder has fallen out of favour at the club since he was excluded from United's Asian Champions League squad under an AFC ruling.

Despite taking out Australian citizenship, Salley still counted as a foreign import for the competition because he hadn't lived Down Under for five years.

But since then Salley has become the forgotten man for the Reds - and now he's over it.

"For me I need to move on," Salley told the Adelaide Advertiser. "I've already made up my mind. I don't know what's going on.

"I was looking forward to playing here but it doesn't look like it's going to happen and that's the way it is."

No-one has talked to the player about his exclusion from the side, adding insult to the injury.

In the last nine hours of playing time, the former Ivorian has been on the field for less than hour.

"I'm here just training, training, I don't know what I'm here for," he said. "I haven't spoken to anyone about it."

"For me it's not the best way, if you're not going to use someone tell him why he's not playing."

Maybe he wouldn't be a bad replacement

Why can a player not love a club they are not going to spend their whole career at? I get it if we are talking milan or barcelona, where you never have financial reasons to move. But in australia? Why can a player not kiss the badge when he has turned down offers from rival a-league clubs to stay with us?

If there was no source given then it is probably no more than he is being looked at. But you would have to think he will move on at some stage, since he is a socceroo and heading in the positive direction age wise.
