I only renewed last week and when I spoke to them they hoped to have the pre-season game included in the card...

I emailed Ivan yesterday and he said the memberships would be posted out before the pre-season match vs the smurfs and if I haven't recieved it in the mail by the preceding Friday to give them a call.

He also confirmed I scored 5 gold seats in the back row of Bay 8  verhead:

Not only is that really close to the bar, but it means we won't get wet when it rains and we'll be shaded in summer. Not so much for me - I just up the beer drinking rate when it rains - but the rest of the family should still be keen to go when the weather is bad, so its all good.

Your Membership Card will get you into the Pre Season Cup game against our rivals Sydney at 3.00pm, Sunday 27 July, and wed love to see you there cheering on the boys to a great start to this years campaign.

If you do not receive your Membership Card in the mail by Friday 25 July, and you are looking to go to the Pre Season Cup game, please let the Club know immediately and alternative arrangements will be made for your entry."

2008/09 Mariners Members Cards Being Sent Now


Members will receive their Member Cards in the mail during the week of 21-25 July. Members have the Pre Season Cup game against our rivals Sydney at 3.00pm Sunday 27 July included in their Membership, and wed love to see as many Members there as possible, cheering on the boys to a great start to this years campaign.

If Members do not receive their Membership Card in the mail by Friday 25 July, and are looking to go to the Pre Season Cup game, we ask them to please let the Club know immediately and alternative arrangements will be made for their entry.

Those supporters yet to sign up to be part of the Frontline of Support this season, it is not too late. Purchase your Membership online before Friday 25 July and you too will be able to watch the Mariners take on Sydney FC as part of your package.

. yeah, i thought last year some of you guys had contacted fox about the pre-season. thought the response was something along the lines of having all their resources committed to the asia cup or something and that next year was a possibility - so much for that eh!

Yeh, Ivan told me my seating by email as well. He is doing a fine job over there considering the 2,500 odd membership applications received in the first few weeks.
