ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Memberships rocketing towards 2,000 in just two weeks

Central Coast Mariners Membership numbers have soared towards the 2,000 mark within a week of their release to the general public, following the most overwhelming uptake of Membership renewals and new Memberships to date.

The 1,000 Member milestone was surpassed only days after Memberships were first made available for renewal, following a very positive response from existing Mariners Members.

With Membership numbers having increased every year at the Mariners since the clubs inception, this initial response suggests that more Members than ever will join the Frontline of Support for the Hyundai A-League 2008/09 season.

The vast majority of Members have renewed or signed up online through the Mariners' new Membership application system, which makes becoming a Mariners Member easier than ever before, with many of those Members are also taking advantage of the new part payment option available online.

"Weve been simply overwhelmed by the response to our Membership packages for season four and we are understandably delighted with the progress we have made so far out from the regular season," said Mariners Executive Chairman Lyall Gorman.

That said, there is still a way to go before we will have achieved our Membership targets for the upcoming campaign and I urge all Mariners fans that are yet to become Members and all Members that are yet to renew to join us for what will be another history making season.

"Even at this early very stage of our clubs development, Members are discovering the tremendous value of securing their seat at Bluetongue Stadium for the upcoming season and for seasons to come.

"Indeed, the value of a Mariners Membership, beyond that of Members benefits and entry to our home matches, is growing at a rapid rate with each passing year.

"Thank you to everyone that has joined us at the Frontline of Support already for the Hyundai A-League 2008/09 season and I look forward to many more joining us in the coming weeks and months."

With a Premiers Plate to defend, Mariners Members can look forward to eleven Hyundai A-League home matches and one Pre-Season Cup game, including four premium events at Bluetongue Stadium over the course of the regular season.

Local rivals Sydney FC will visit Bluetongue Stadium on three occasions, including a Pre-Season Cup match, there is also one match against Grand Final adversaries the Newcastle Jets and the traditional New Years Eve fixture, which this year will welcome the challenge of the Perth Glory.

Being a Mariners Member for the upcoming season will get you entry into all 12 games the Mariners play at Bluetongue Stadium in the Pre-Season Cup and the Hyundai A-League and will save you over 33% off your match day ticket prices, plus youll receive a Members pack full of exclusive Member benefits.

Mariners Memberships for the Hyundai A-League 2008/09 season are now on sale at www.ccmariners.com.au.

Ends

Just to clarify - members will get their regular seat for the Pre-Season Cup match unlike last season?
So it says. Unless like last season they do another charity thing.

Thanks mate. Probably why I am a little hesitant to be TOO confident here.

I might send Ivan an email.

Cheers,

Anyone know how many memberships CCMariners had in 2007/2008 season? I tried searching "memberships" on the forum, but couldn't see any threads on that topic and can't see anything on the CCM site or wiki.

I've done my bit. Upgraded from White to Gold, and I convinced a further 3 mates to also become Gold Members this season for the first time.

Considering that most Sydney based NRL clubs barely have 2000 members, 3000 members in our 3rd year of existance is something to be relatively proud of.

Yes, I did my bit too. I was a white member last year and the rest of the family just bought tickets at the game. Now, all four of us have gold memberships this season and I even convinced a friend to get a gold seat next to us.

The above two posts are awesome guys! I love hearing that stuff.

After the Budgewoi trial vs Newcastle, I got some friends and family to become members too.

If every member could recruit just one person annually ... well ... you don't have to be a mathematician to work out that we will have a packed house AND a waiting list for those wanting season tickets  :pirashoot:
