ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I am soon to become a pensioner, but do you think they will give me a concession on my platinum tickets.
No way. But do you hear me complaining?  :soapbox:

suck it up - your super payout and your $1 pensioner train fare from the northern part of sydney will more than cover the difference

You lot don't know when you are well off.
When I was a boy it used to cost a shilling to get into North Sydney oval and an extra sixpence if you wanted an area with seats. A bloody fortune in those days.
I used to have to collect soft drink bottles to get a bus fare home.
You kids these days get it easy and you complain about a few dollars.

I am soon to become a pensioner, but do you think they will give me a concession on my platinum tickets.

first thing in the morning you had to lick the road clean, you had to walk uphill both ways to school and your father used to thrash you to sleep with a broken bottle and you loved it...

Wait till they raise the pension age to 70 in return for higher allowances.

Then the whining will start.

Worse than farmers those pensioners.

Ursus - you climbed the alps to get to school, yes??

Then had to fight Hannibal and his army coming home from school singlehandly

With nothing but his bare hands, only to find out he had to go out and hunt his own dinner when he got home.

I haven't been able to get on here for a while.

If I bought a ticket in bay 16 (other people I would normally sit with have already bought tickets) Would it be possible to move around once we are in the bay? Or will I sit next to random people (possibly knowing them) for the whole year!?!?

Also as a student living out of home I find $190 to be pretty pricey, and yes there is the online payment, but that way you have to pay an extra $12... In other words it will now cost over $200... Kinda sucky...
(And don't you go saying "Oh it is only $12"... When you don't have a full time job, $12 is quite a lot... )

i think the "who we are" on the home page will need to be changed this season:

To become a Marinator, all you have to do is stand with the group behind the goals, wear yellow, and join in the chanting and singing. There are no fees or charges, just stand with us and have fun!

Yeah good point although you still had to buy a ticket to get in the ground before, which is a fee/charge yeh? No fees or charges over your Mariners membership? ;)

Only if you believe you have to be in Bay 16 to be a Marinator. Which given that many don't and won't it clearly is not so!  :pirate:
