ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Called South End.

And Jonk, we dont need your smarmy patronising shit, SFC take more away than any other HAL club. MV get a load of locals in Sydney and some travel to Adelaide.

A few Sydney based tards come up to gosford and Newcastle and thats about it.

FYI - 150 from the Coast is roughly 0.05% of our population. The equivalent from you guys would be 1,500. Most you have ever brought to BT is about 20 (and they probably live in Sydney).

You will find that , as a rule, CCM supporters dont tend to get into pissing up the wall contests with other supporters groups as we are who we are and we dont give a flying what you or anyone else thinks.

Why not go trolling on the SFC forum instead?

LOL, not even Sydney fans claim that. I was with a few members of the Cove in Sydney the other day and their main message to me was respect. We travel to Sydney with about double the numbers they bring down. Our bays are smaller and they have never filled one. We always fill one.

There's only a few Sydney based MVFC fans. I know nearly all the faces on the away trips. They stand in the terrace with me on game day.

such BS, we have had triple that, to the least important club in Australia.

Well, of course not, hence all your replies. Oh wait...

Some day we'll play at Blue Tongue in a game that counts - a final in the future, maybe - and we'll do to you guys what the Cove does every time they come up to dominate your home ground with only one end.

Despite it being the actual North End....you were actually located down with the 'South End"

The ends at Docklands are named after the two greatest goalkickers in AFL history, Gordon Coventry & Tony Lockett.

The Lockett End is to the North, and the Coventry End is to the South.

Greenpole, there are permanent signs in place naming these two ends. May I ask if they have been taken down for A-League games? They are definitely in place for AFL, Cricket & State of Origin?
id be lying if i said i cared what the ends are actually called. When talking football it is the North and South Ends

Why do people have these pissing comps?  Last season MV had at least 70 at Bluetongue in the holiday period game - perhaps many more.

I ate my dinner at the CCLC with a group of them .. families on their summer holidays - in addition to the usual free and cashed up young ones.

Our fans at Docklands last night did us proud, and just leave it that!

keensy, pity you don't care about things when you are shown up.

See here: http://www.melbournevictory.com.au/default.aspx?s=aleague_photogalleries&galleryid=673&photoid=5

On the left of the photo of FIGJAM scoring the ACL, there is a great (although distant) shot of the name of the northern End of Docklands. It says: LOCKETT

So, when referring to Docklands in future, please use the correct terminology. It's Lockett & Coventry. kk thnx.

shown up...rofl

I believe melbourne fans are referred to as Northern Terrace or North End...whilst at the other you have the Southern Death Crew or South End.....hence the song 'we're north end we're north end, we're north end over here etc".

When they start singing 'we're lockett end we're lockett end etc' i will start referring to them as that. kk thx.....bl

LOL, fair enough then. There has to be a ""Coventry Death Crew"" in the Midlands, doesn't there??

By the way, if you ever meet Tony Lockett, might be advisable NOT to sledge the Big Unit. He'd eat you for breakfast.

The strange thing is that an unlikely midfield of Gumprecht, Hutchinson and Porter actually dictated play for almost half an hour. Melbourne looked nothing like title contenders until the 65th minute. I can forgive Simon one miss for the season but McAllister also missed badly and Mrdja needs to learn that if you play for your team mates they will play for you, instead of shooting into the side netting and giving us that couldn't believe how he missed look he could have pushed the ball inside for Matt Simon ( and should have done the same last week too).
