The Mariners will be keen to continue their unbeaten start when they travel to play the Wellington Phoenix on Sunday.Last time we playedin the cake tin Wellingtn demolished us 3-0, though this is a new team and new match so we should be expecting a closer affair. Im scared thugh because I think Phoenix will be a real force after building up huge confidence with players and Ricki Herbert being the only unbeaten team in the World Cup.

playing in welly, id love to see a defensive but counter attacking 433, know we wont but imagine this one:

-----------------Vanstrattan------------------
---------------------------------------------
--Bojic-----Wilkinson-----Zwaanswijk-----Rose--
---------------------------------------------
--Porter-----------Griffiths---------Hutchinson--
---------------------------------------------
--McBreen----------Simon------------Bozanic--

that is a team that can score goals AND park a bus like its got flat tires

I can see him playing a pretty similar line up, alot will depend if perez plays or not, if he doesnt play i can see him moving kwas to the bench and bring in griffiths to the midfield or play with the same starting 11

I'll just be happy if we score against these guys, can't remember the last time we rattled their net from the inside.

Whoever said he was our only crosser before Adelaide game is purely inept.

I said that and he was our only crosser last season.

Was decent first game and you can't judge his performance on the back of one game. That would be "inept".

Good side but how about Hutcho on right, WeeMac infront of Griff and that looks spot on. Boz and Rose are gonna carve in on the left, don't change that combo!

Hutcho doesnt have a right boot. We would end up very onesided for me. Especially with pedj at RB, would give us little chance of a cross from the right IMO.

I think hutch needs to be in the middle or the left. I thought weemac was pretty good wider. I think grif can also play out there, though would prefer him in the middle
