What a great result last night and the bay was buzzing... kendall pre game was also good fun... the fight out front of leagues club was pretty bad.. i walked right into the middle of it without even realising it ( too many ales) thankfully i made it through without incident.. it was really ugly but a lot of the people throwing punches were randoms not in mariners gear and jets suppoters... its great that we have a good rivalry with them but i can only see these sort of scenes getting worse in seasons to come...

Unfortunately there was a couple of guys yelling racist stuff at song and zura and yelling "sorry jade" all night in the bay across from us (middle of the eastern stand) there were guys doing the same thing at the grand final and the semi final as well. but lets face it, half the guys on here call shebangabang the "sheep shaggers" how is that not racism?

Its only the scum who think it "funny" to walk into or in front of our bay. Why? nothing good can come of it and as we saw outside, their confrontational posturing went v wrong

No we dont think its funny, any proper supporter knows thats a stupid act, if they got the boot then sucked in.
Same goes to the randoms from your side trying it on from the balcony above our bays, and the couple of teenage emos that tried to run down the aisles of bay 30 after you scored. One of our senior guys got booted even though he was trying to stop one of your supporters from running into trouble. Security was a joke, the head guy was a good bloke, but the people he had working for him had no idea how to defuse a situation, seemed to think that a football crowd is the same as working the door at a pub, pushing and shoving patrons doesnt work when there is more than 5 of them numbskulls.
There was the usual drunken handbags after the game, with people from both sides trying it on, but as has been mentioned, completely inadequate police and security covering to make sure it stayed verbal not physical. Which unfortunately it didnt.
Well done to you guys, you won and we look forward to the chance at redemption next time.

Just fantastic to see three up front again after the Adelaide game. It's a no-brainer for me. Simple, score more goals than the opposition and you win. Who cares if we let the odd one or two in. With the fire power we've got, we'll always score plenty.

And there's no better sight in football than to see attackers running at defenders and we did it all night.That's when it is indeed the beautiful game.
