ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

f**k it I'm gonna be confident and say we'll win 2-1, it's a decent time to play them, weather suits our style of play (plus players preference) and surely....SURELY we're due a home win against them!

I hope we can beat Roar now. It would be massive for us on the table, but even more important for our confidence.
And whats more I actually think we CAN beat them this time around.

Without being able to inject Enrique last week they would have gone down, and now he's out with a hammy...

McKay was always going to be a loss, but they have been looking worse each game without him - with their movement gradually becoming less effective or meaningful.

CANT WAIT for this one!

They had a minute silence before the Newcastle v North Queensland game, and I'd be very disappointed if we didn't do the same, considering it's actually Brisbane coming to us. The teams also wore black armbands.

I've given one of my free tix to a mate at work. He wants to come up and see Brisbane play. Hope our boys have him raving favourably about how we play instead.

This should answer your questions.

Hi Scott

Thank you for your email and we will certainly be paying respects and making announcements about fundraising but we will not be offering a bucket collection at this game as FFA are looking at doing something centrally for the A-League across the weekend.

Kind Regards

Bev

I think also a rousing version of the National Athem would also be appropriate as a show of respect & unity to our fellow Australians.

From the Facebook page:

Central Coast Mariners and Brisbane Roar will tonight wear black armbands and observe a moment's silence for the victims of Queensland's devastating floods. Yellow Army will be collecting bucket donations with all proceeds going to the Premier's Disaster Relief Fund. Be generous people, as our thoughts go to all those affected. http://www.qld.gov.au/floods/donate.html

I think the wind will make it a very challenging night for keepers.

Wouldn't hurt if Green would award a penalty! Barbarouses' was pretty blatant for mine.

I would say the first was obviously Matty's fault, Broich shouldn't have been given as much room on the second by our defence (Dutchy a tad asleep?)but there wasn't much anyone could do against the third one, that was a killer strike.

We took our chances fairly well tonight, so there was definitely a lot to like from it even if we did lose a lead against 10 men. Great game though

My points
3: Perez
2: Rose
1: Bozanic

Pedj, Matty and the big Griff also standouts
