ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Mariners vs Jets: Derby Grand Final

Does anyone know who's reffing on Sunday? I hope it's not those d***heads Breezy or Shields, even though I think with their arrogance and being the biggest a**holes around we can pound the Jets, but if it's them, you can be assured there will cards flying everywhere, not to mention send offs, and being in Sydney even more so.

It will be Shield (no s, please people, I have no idea why Fox do that), he's a good referee, can be a bit easy with cards but he does what the laws tell him to do. Unlike Breeze who doesn't know what Law 12 is!

No idea on where the injuries updates posts are supposed to go, so I'll pop one in here:

As far as I can see, we have a full squad training apart (at the moment) from Tommy P. Is this everyone else's understanding, and does anyone have inside info on how likely he is to be available?

:headbounce:

Go back to Bossley Park Lowenna ;) Hey, we've won a lot more Sunday games this season than last season, when I did come on Sunday!

Yea, I should be able to be a student, but it's more the whole day out thing.

Understand current PAX for tickets sold is 35100 around 3.00pm this arvo.  the way it is going should be around 40,000 on the day. Great atmosphere - maybe FFA got it right

ffa will say their decision has been vindicated, however theyre not taking into account the inconvenience they have caused to thousands of people - im working on monday and im not looking forward to it but what can you do... anyways, bring on sunday!

Well the price, the fact it's a Sunday, it's not on the coast and they're not using CCM Volunteers (rather they're PAYING people to do that job)

I can't afford it what the hell am I supposed to do?

I've been with this club since day one, which is more than I can say for a lot of people on this forum so don't DARE question my loyalty, I love Central Coast Mariners Football Club but sometimes you can't make it and alas sometimes that's a Grand Final

Some people just can't make it. If it had of been the week early (say they didn't break for the international date) I wouldn't be there plain and simple I would of been pissed but not alot you can do. I would still prefer the grand final to be a saturday.

but as it is I get to make a 3000km round trip to watch a game of football.  :eek:verhead:

I think Saturday is a much better option, you'd have a day to recover before work, it's more family friendly. I guess there's some things going for Sunday, but Saturday seems much better.

Referee appointments:
Ref: Mark Shield (well, we all knew that)
ARs: Nathan Gibson, Ben Wilson (if anybody's interested in those - Gibbo is a f**king disgrace, I've never seen him within 10 yards of the line of the 2nd last defender, NFI why the powers that be think he's so good)
4th: Matthew Breeze

Don't worry, I'm sure Breeze won't be able to screw us up from the bench ;-)
