Disco Nik surprised me when he came on last night. He had a real dip and the team lifted around him.
I can't work out whether his antics in the first half were a highlight or a lowlight though.

Serious... I'm _TRYING_ to stay _BALANCED_ but just read another CCM fan stating he will now boycott NYE game to teach the Mariners a lesson.
Yes we have lost 4 in a row. Yes it hurts to watch.
BUT f**k!!! Reality check people! Remember us? The smallest demographic club, fighting for long term survival, so skint we can't afford to fill our squad, or sign a marquee?? And do you remember the people who've worked hand in hand with us over the past five years to build it? BIG PICTURE people!
We're 6th. We need to lift. Of course we f**king do.
But look at half of you? Your all completely f**king done and dusted. Teams all wrong, we're shit, punt the coach... again...

f**king hell. You CANNOT underestimate how your bitterness and anger can impact on our club. I know it isn't easy, but honestly sometimes you just have to man up for your club, show some bloody spirit and GET THE f**k BEHIND THEM.
Its what we want our team to do, and its also what we need to do!
Third place only 4 weeks ago... Have we really all become so gutless?
I may not enjoy it, but I'll watch every single f**king minute of the rest of our season, yelling for the team, even if we go down spooners and I have to watch the man who has worked harder than anyone else for our club sink with his ship.
It's fun to talk shape, players, tactics... and by god we're all dazzling with our hindsight... But what I've learned is that sometimes when the chips are down, and the shit hits the fan, and your hurting, you just have to bloody stand tall, take the punishment, and step the f**k up.
CALL TO ARMS PEOPLE! TIME TO SHOW SOME f**kING SOLIDARITY!!!
For better or worse its the home straight now, and except for the possibility of a player from Yoof and Jonathon Brown, there is going to be NO major squad changes or change of coach for the remainder of the season... so what's really left to us now? Whinge about how shit we are and why? Or except the only worthwhile option remaining this season is to grow some, and step up proudly be it a bitter end or otherwise.
Kudos to the Coastie Boys and or Marinators down the front and away this season, as its all I've seen you do. And obviously Lawrie is appreciating it also, your come what may, big picture support attitude is getting noticed and deservedly so.
But reading CCM fans agreeing with the same people on 442 who consistently spew hatred onto our club even when we are demolishing teams was just f**king abominable.
There is only one course of action left us this season as far as I'm concerned and thats to stand up and bleed yellow to the bitter end or whatever comes our way.
Oh...
And a very merry f**king christmas to you all.

so true despire our poor form decided to attend my ist away game in 5 yrs to get behind the lads, took a couple of mates along as well, we should never give up, mariner till I die !!!!
I must say that I was really proud of the support in the away bay, non stop all game, it was better than the home games !, well done to all who attend, merry xmas & looking fwd to NYE, come on you yellow.

Top post FP!!!! Got to follow your team through thick and thin. Always see the positives instead of the negatives as well. My team in the UK (Plymouth Argyle) is dead last in the Championship so the Mariners are my only source of joy at the moment,haha. Anyway we just have to keep supporting the lads and the joy of winning will come. Merry xmas and see you at NYE.

When I renewed my membership it wasnt conditional upon sparkling football and a promise that we would win every week.
But I still go regardless coz CCM are my team.

Ive been a one NRL team fan all my life. The Roosters, so I know what good and bad seasons are.
I have favored players but I dont follow players or coaches just the team.
And the Mariners warts and all are MY TEAM except we really can't say go you yellows any more
