ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

No Macca or Jedi (probably) so I reckon 442

Danny
Osman Boogs Wilko D'Appuzzo
Car- chair-arse Hutcho Porter Elrich
Matty Saso

Bozzaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, Santa, Clarkie and Bojic

Personally, I would move Wilko to RB and leave Bojic in at CB with Boogs but I bet we wont

Wilko to RB
Nooooooooooooooo.........Wilko's f**kin hopeless at full back imho!

where were you in season 1? he spent a fair bit of time there, and did very well.
Spent most of season 1 trying to learn who was who..........but I remember him playing at right back a couple of times in season 2....one in particular where he got taken to the cleaners up at scum park.I just think he's more suited to CB.He seems to read the game better there.A half decent winger would carve him up easy at full back imo.

Whisper it but Bojic and Boogs are better CB's.
OK you may be right there.....but then I'd go back four of..

Osman Bojic Boogs D'Appuzzo

and leave Wilko on the bench.

And now my daughter who wants to marry Wilko will disown me! ::)

Dylan is still only 70/30 and no reason to rush him back with Matty and Sash playing so well. He may get a bench spot but really depends on if he gets through training today.

After Bojic's performance last week it would be hard to drop him, I can see him either staying in the middle or moving to the right where has played quite a lot in his career.

---------------Danny
Bojic-----Wilko-------Boogs------D'Appuzzo
Elrich----Hutcho-----Porter-------Caceres
---------Simon------Petrovski

Bench - Bozza, Osman, Mrdja, Macca/Stringers

I don't think Lawrie will risk any of his injured players unless they are 100%, it's too early in the season for that kind of gamble.

Sydney I would imagine might line up :

---------------Bolton
Middleby----Fyfe-----Timpano----Cole
------Monkey Boy---Colosimo
---Casey-----Corica-----Brosque
-------------Bridge

Bench - Necevski, Biddle, Payne, McFlynn

If they play Colosimo at the back it would be a waste IMO, but Kossie might fancy putting Fyfe on the right and dropping Middleby allowing McFlynn a spot in the middle with Monkey Boy?

Who knows, we'll find out Saturday.

If our midfield are on song we can win this 1, Sydney's major asset is their midfield but if we can get behind their fullbacks we could score a few!  Same for Sydney though, they will fancy their chances against our defenders, I hope D'Appuzzo has a better game as the last 2 I have seen against Sydney and Scum have left me a little concerned, he is young though and will only improve through experience.

Today's weather is shocking, more rain predicted tomorrow, we could be in for a scrappy game?

I think I fancy another 1-1 at the moment.

Here is an idea. Being that he is Australian, and his Australian name is Mark Bosnich, why dont we sing chants with the name Mark Bosnich in it?

I dont think McKinna will rush Boogs straight in either more likely off the bench because Clarkey was very good on friday night and so were the rest of the back 4. If he does come in i see it in replace of D'Appuzzo. But most likely a bench spot.

Rain clouds should be pushed out to see by strong winds early tomorow morning and should clear up for most of saturday and sunday.

We will be fine. The weather babe on channel 9 told me so.
