Haven't looked at the stats, but i would say we had around 35 - 40% of the ball for the game. To win 3 - 0 with that stat is amazing. On 9 out of 10 days we would have shipped at least 1 maybe 2 goals giving a team that much ball. Just goes to explain how well our back played this game.

MOM for me was Crowell. He was in everything and his tackling was spot on, made it a lot easier for our backs to play as they did.

Mmm, but he wasn't able to hold up the play as well as he might which is one of the reasons the roar had more possession. Weemac having a quiet one was the other factor.
But they worked hard and our shape is quite simply excellent.
Best I've ever seen it to be honest and is making us very hard to break down.

While it was a great win, and I'm very happy about the team performance, I'm worried about who scored the goals.
We have scored 12 so far (I think), 4 from one striker & 8 from mids & defenders. We still haven't solved our striker problem.

No, thats right. We are reliant on our midfield.
Like Adelaide. When their midfield fires they can beat pretty much anyone "even us!" 

But if it's not. They're dead in the water... At least we have one proven quality striker, though I thought Leckie looked good. Don't see owusu getting a start for awhile.

Re 41% possession, just a bit more sticking our foot on it in the mids and not quite so rushed to knock it long at the back and that stat would have shifted and should do. Roar move well and are always tough to keep up with though.

just got back from brissy.....so glad i didnt waste the train tickets.....the boys game was exceptional, to be honest i was picking another draw, thought the Meow would be slightly more fired up than that, even Tiatto had a quiet one...
