ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Give David Williams the keys to Gosford? That's just a coathanger bent just right, isn't it?

Kwasnik, nice goal, but needs to pass it! Twice he had simple layoffs for Simon/Perez but went for glory and missed.

Nice passing movements starting from the back, but need to convert them into chances!

Please score again Mariners. Don't think I could stand watching a last minute equaliser after all these wasted chances. Have been enjoying watching the positive work through midfield though.

Another shit crowd at the game. I guess it's mid-week but weather seems fine.

Excellent a win from a somewhat cautious and controlled game if not massively exciting :)

Whats with Simon becoming one of the best crosses? Never would have picked that last season. Well done

We're sitting third,
we're playing attractive football,
we're winning at home.
CENTRAL COAST- what more do you want?

This, plus we're very solid defensively. Wilko is awesome and really doesn't get the credit he deserves (along with Dutchy).

We're a great chance this year as we have still have the chance to improve!

Go you Mariners!!!

Happy with the result anf the position but not the performance. The good thing is that Perez and the team are still on different wavelengths so there is massive potential for improvement.

Not a "great" game by us its true I think, but it is a GREAT result.

What makes me even happier however is that Arnie's assessment of the game was in my opinion absolutely spot on.

More confidence and endeavour was required - we need to trust ourselves with the more difficult/precise forward passes.

We played out rarely form the back compared to usual and were slow to get the ball wide to Rose and Pedj.

We also must defend form the front at all times and force the quick turn over, sitting back could have bit us big time tonight if not for a rock solid defence... and against a team like Roar or Adelaide you'd have to expect us to be punished. Prob Melb Victory for that matter as well.

It's also obviously painful to watch your team sit back and allow a team to have undue possession - at any time - but especially at home.

Anyhow, Wilko and Arnie both said that we can do better, which I think most would agree to, yet it's exciting that we still did enough to deserve our 3 points in my opinion while I also believe Fury are a decent side.

But now as to Fox....

Just got home and watched the pre game and post game commentary etc...

What the f**k is with the whole get Ljubo down from Newcastle to talk about the Jest at a Mariners game??!!!
Then have to endure him taking pot shots at our team and talking smack about how much better the hyphenator is than Wilko??? And then use him to stir up shit about the keeper scenario and... weird treatment of former European players??

RED CARD FOX!!!! THAT WAS ABSOLUTE SHIT!

Bad enough putting up with Trimboli's commentary, though to be fair he does continue to surprise in that he can open his mouth at all with Muscats balls permanently wedged in there.
