So no action internally that we know of yet. The club has only announced his ban which is very light imo. If you did the same thing at grass roots what do you think you’d get for punishment?

Looks like the club is hoping everyone forgets after the split round.

Chelsea gave there keeper one game for ignoring the coach on a sub but so far abusing a ref is not a problem for our club because he said sorry.

More piss weak leadership.

And i hate refs but you can’t be setting those examples. We are a community club and every community struggles to get refs and the abuse goes over the top sometimes and here we are just sticking to the script

This is not against Mat anybody who did this should be punished but especially the captain.

I know you're joking but the best thing he could do if he does make his way back is go to Perth/Adelaide/Brisbane somewhere far away from the influences that seem to drag him down. Or maybe he should have played league instead of football.

I’m 90% certain that ban only apply’s in turkey where it happened.
It was a 2 year ban from memory, haven’t seen too much else about it.

4 years. I thought there would be some sort of reciprocal or fifa level agreement to honour bans for that sort of thing. He'd be a huge gamble for any club anyway, needs to find form if he wants to earn his way back.
