ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I hear he's on about $150,000 currently

Which probably wouldn’t be too bad if he upped the work rate and found form more often but too much for what we’ve actually got.

If I were him I’d be considering my value compared to what we’re paying Mcglinchey or Simon. No way I’m taking sub 100k of those guys are on more. He’s equalled Matt’s total and played 300 minutes less. Free kicks are a trickier prospect than penalties too.

Is it bad that I didn't think twice about this error?

"Yep now we are signing cricketers"

Please explain what you’ve heard about the young boys visa’s?
I don’t know specifics, just that ‘someone’ has screwed up the visa application and there are implications as a result. At best it will delay those boys getting clearance to play at worst I guess they could be on their way back to Sheffield.

We do have some form in that area, the club tried to sign Youssuf Hersi in the January window three of four seasons back only for ‘someone’ to apply for a holiday visa instead of a working one. Upshot was, the time it would have taken to correct the error meant he would only play a handful of games for us, so the club parked the whole deal.

Who the f**k are they hiring at this club? No wonder we are a laughing stock, can we get some people with some football experience in for f**ks sake?

Don’t need to know football to know you need visas for foreign employees. If this is true, who the hell is in charge of this. I like Shaun, but if there is substance to this, the buck stops with him.

Fans are in a world of hurt today... from the most successful club in Hal to a joke does that to you...

Fans make the club, and the world is full of Football clubs and other businesses who lost their base because of their own incompetence.

We have some players to resign, Tommy, Pain, hopefully O'Neil if available, as starters and then some others... with West Melbourne coming in and both the Scum & Drive By's looking to strengthen their squads ... its beyond obvious we need to sign players a squad can be built around and players who by being here sorta say to other players, you can come here...

At some point, leadership, which includes decision making needs to occur ...

No pressure on a free kick.

what it your point??

Perhaps I’ve misunderstood yours. You said no pressure on a free kick so it sounded like you were saying that Hoole had it easier than Simon. I agree there’s more pressure on the pen but it’s a far greater opportunity to score.

This is unsubstantiated gossip to be fair

Given the number of overseas players we have signed and a number on short term deals I don't think it would be a lack of knowledge ... """if""" it has happened its the person getting the visa and the person checking that person got the visa need to be given the arse

We just successfully completed Jem’s visa so I find it hard to believe but with the way we are stuffing things up who bloody knows

I honestly wish you'd keep this shit to yourself, it's disheartening.
