ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

From what they were playing today it was a flat three in the middle - melling, Oniel & hiariej. 3 at the back, 2 wingbacks & 2 strikers.
O'Neill and Tom together makes me a little excited. I'm convinced Tom could do a job at #10 in a midfield of Jem and O'Neill. He is good in tight spaces and makes passes many fail to see. He isn't the best defensively so being high up can relieve him of so much defending.

Sending Millar home from training because he wont sign a contract extension sounds like a sure fire motivational strategy to me.
Club is a farce.

Rumour has it he was told not to attend training, as he has not accepted the club’s contract extension offer.
My expectations of the club and how they manage player relationships, have been seriously lowered over the last couple of years, but surely no one there would come up with a strategy quite as ridiculous as that?
Seems like a good way to guarantee that he doesn't re-sign.

Unless he's already signed somewhere else and the club has decided to give someone else the development chance in his place I guess... Still seems stupid to send him home for that, so let's hope it's something else.
