ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Agree with all that’s been said. Very impressed by Kekeris’s game, though he and Millar were often not on the same page. Hoole will have to fight for his spot.

Melling was excellent. Dominated and one of our best. Weemac and Matty also in good touch and energetic.

The movement compared to okons regime is vastly superior. Looked like we had purpose and clarity going forward. Less so in the second half, but was too be expected with the changes.

i reckon Hoole and McGing will be struggling for game time unless the injury bug happens

Let's not get too carried away against a squad of amateurs who haven't played together. We played well given the opposition.
Does it paint a positive picture? Sure. Does it mean much for our season? Nope.

I know he is not with us this year but he still has a contract BTW I did not edit the entry.

Central Coast Mariners
De Silva joined A-League side Central Coast Mariners in July 2017 on a three-year contract.[14] Daniel De Silva made his first competitive debut for the Mariners in the FFA Cup against Blacktown City, coming on as a substitute in 86th minute. At the start of the 2018/19 season De Silva acted like a baby throwing his toys out of the cot, as he wanted a transfer. This transfer eventually came in a 1-year loan move to Sydney FC in an A-League first. This is now known as the De Silva cry baby rule.

He's hit a personal ceiling. His attitude is actually pretty decent, but if he loses the childish memes and learns to score goals, he could be something great. He's gotta take the next big step, and it's entirely possible. Sucks, but we weren't the right place to do that. Still, f**k him and all that.

All I read was blah blah blah FK him.
I was all for him until he 'went on strike' and frankly my position of FK him is now unlikely to change.
So I'm all for the 10 minutes of slagging he'll cop on wiki. The bots will have edited it out shortly.

Oh I'm all for that, I have very little time for the mug. Life is always more complex than a post on a forum, I think he'll find plenty of challenges to overcome in his own way.

Also f**k DDS.

Not carried away.

Took the opposition into account and can see why we drew with the scum last week. We look like a football team again.

Seen enough football to be able to tell when players look sharp, are making good decisions with good movement and chemistry, regardless of their opposition. Several were. Thats all.

Will be very interesting to see what happens when the Italian window opens.

They usually fall out of the frame. Most things in Italy are shonky as f**k.

Me and the wife booked a trip to Greece from Holland on the train. They warned me to go via Germany as the service is much better than via Italy. Being stubborn i didnt listen.................big mistake. The Italian train was shambolic. Over 100c and only the food carridge had working air con and cold beer. Train kept breaking down.....ended up paying double for a sleeping cabin to escape the annoying locals and to get some cool.

I'm hanging out for any signing news now. The team clearly needs its remaining preseason time to gel so getting everyone in as soon as possible will be invaluable

Millar was shown up defensively again as he was against the Jets. I'm not sure McGing is under pressure there Maybe Aspro plays there when he is fit
There is no way that McGing and Hoole will be under threat whilst Millar and McDonald are there. Neither of them are up to A League standard although Millar at least is something to work with (he's closer to HAL than Bolt atm). Aspro will not play RB unless Mulvey works miracles with him - he is more likely to play CB over Cisse than RB over McGing.
