Would Flores come back to us, seeing there was a bit of aggro when he left?

Depends who he had the aggro with. Before he left wasn't there an "Evening with Flores" or something at the leagues club? All nicey nicey how he enjoys his time here.
The next thing I know one of my mates was telling me how Flores was slating us for not looking after him during him injury & recovery.

My recollection is that it was Moss's call. One that I happened to agree with at the time. It was early into the injury (a few weeks into a potentially 12 month injury) and Flores asked for an extension on his contract. Moss said we would help him with his recovery - but he wanted an extension straight away. Flores was not happy with the answer and walked away.

As I said this is my recollection - someone may know more or prove me wrong. However, if it is correct his gripe is with Moss - not TW.

I would love to see Flores back, I think he would be great with the players we now have. It wouldn't be so easy to shut him down now.

BA- please see above in your quote - was easier to respond that way,

FFC. Agree on obvious value of an experienced CB - shouldn't be an either or discussion though - but i do think with posc mcging ascroft and uskok that theyre unlikely to prioritise a CB when we have just lost several attacking players.

And tbf, cant see how they have this one too wrong. Wouldn't have mattered who we had in defence last week in the second half... We were raped because we had no one who could come on and keep the ball up field after our two wingers and bingers ran out of legs and still having no real #10.

Hersi...

Well, we'll see. But personally im excited. He's proven at HAL level and at 33 is still not too old to be able to hope for a couple of good seasons. And we could obviously do a lot worse than a player with over two hundred games in the Eridivisie.

David Williams next please.

EDIT: just read your post GRA, :postcount:same same, could have saved myself some bother posting.
No dramas I think he was worked over physically at Perth and yes did watch him but not Mariners close. I wasn't impressed.
Anyway fox saying Hersi will be announced in next 48hrs.
Bozza throwing up the idea of putting him up the front to use his pace.
