ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Mariners squad HAL 10 ~ 2014/15

Assigning the CCM licence to a new entity would by necessity terminate the licence with the current entity - you can't have two companies holding the right to operate as "Central Coast Mariners" at the same time.
See that as a transfer & not a termination

That was in Feb 2013.
mentions Arnie as major reason he resigned

So presume the new two years were for (As you would be extending after the current contract finishes at the end of the season)
13/14 season - Pissed off to VS after a couple of games
14/15 season - Due back 1/1/15 till end of the season.

Therefore a 13/14 season FFA contract rules would probably apply

I can't see that the lil Sweaty has any chance of breaking his contract.
He is chancing his arm and trying a few little tricks to get us to yield......the PFA are an irrelevance.
Once we bring in the AFC or FIFA then he is f**ked.
I expect him to be back at BT soon and would expect him to have a great season.
After that he can fook off to the Windy City the following season once his contract is up.

As Middy said NZ have left a bad taste and much more of this and we would have to question why they are even in the HAL.

He is gone. The only time you will see him at BT is in a Wellington Phoenix Shirt

Mediation is an attempt to get the parties to come to an agreement without going to court.
We have a contract that we want for filled from the 1st Jan.
Weemac doesn't want to & beleive he has a legal reason to support him other than I just don't want to.

So the parties need to argue so they can try & sort it out.

Mediation has nothing to do with who is right or wrong. It is really a first step in the legal process.

I agree, but if you're confident in your legal position you don't need to mediate with anyone...

And yet the FFA still haven't registered his contract with the Phoenix... why is that if the matter is as open and shut as you, the Phoenix and the PFA are suggesting?

Isn't it time to accept that maybe - just maybe - the Mariners have a valid claim and that the yellow shirt he'll be wearing in Round 1 will be ours?

No; he has moved to Wellington. Is living in Wellington. Is training in Wellington. Even if through some legal stroke of genius we won the court battle. He doesn't want to be here. Lets get someone who wants to be here. Let him go stop fighting for this and go and focus our energy on a player that WANTS to play for the Mariners.

You may feel like rolling over, but I want a player contract to be worth more than the paper it's printed on. If that means taking McGlinchey to court, then so be it.

I understand your logic and I want the contract to be worth something too, but I also want someone in the shirt that wants to play for the shirt. If we got him back now he would be coming kicking and screaming

f**k that.
He is contracted to us.
Be a man and play to the best of your ability or sit on the bench like a little bitch.....it's up to you.......I've never met a Sweaty that would take the second option.

As to "Is living in Wellington"....it's not differcult to pack a suitcase from the local Mecure Hotel.

Bilo.....originally I enjoyed your posts as someone in the know ....but now you just come across as a white ant and I'm not even sure if you are a Mariners fan at all.......more like a Football NSW wannabe with an axe to grind.

Weemac is playing this game for one reason.....greater dollars. Wellington is nothing exciting as a city and even less so as a Football club. Suck it up for one season, prove your quality and show some respect and gratitude to the club that made you and enjoy the greater dollars next year.

Excellent - you make me laugh. You know we all have opinions. We don't have to agree with them.

He won't be back so its all just banter anyway

Trying to move away from the Wee-Mac problems.

We have a number of players that will likely be in and around the first XI that didn't have the benefit of an injury free pre-season with the team last year. In spite of this we still ended 3rd on the ladder.

Bosnar, Kim and Simon all looked to struggle with fitness last year and could all lift a level. Duke seemed to be lost out wide so if he can re-prove himself in the middle he may also recapture some of his previous form. Caceres and Fitzgerald are others that may continue to improve.

In other words potentially 6 of our starting 11 have plenty of improvement left in them.
