ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
I think things may get worse before they get better. Amateur hour all round and cash flow at an all time low.

I would side with McGlinchey too. After achieving all he needed to with the Mariners, and the A League, he followed the great mentor Arnie to the land of the rising sun for many more dollars. I don't blame him for that. Meanwhile Mike Charlesworth was happy to off load the cost of the wages and began counting the big fat transfer fee. Arnie then returns home after being stitched up by the Japanese; Clarky appears in Sydney's colours looking as if he is wondering how it all went wrong; Vukovic returns from yet another overseas misadventure and poor old WeeMac is left high and dry - dumped by the Japanese and abandoned by the Mariners "he will honour his contract and return on January 1st". What is he supposed to do? Charlesworth really does not want him back because it will put the Mariners over the salary cap; they did not have a plan B in case he returned; and they now expect him to do nothing for six months and then turn up happy as can be as a loyal Mariner. If I was WeeMac I would be doing my utmost to screw the club that is screwing him - the Mariners - and I would be pursuing every legal loophole and calling the PFA for help. The PFA is siding with McGlinchey:

WARNING:
we are yet to see how this pans out but if he is gone... a man with a young family and maybe 5 or 6 years left of money making ability in his chosen profession decided to do what is in his families best interest and go after a lucrative deal. good for him. Mariners should have been offering for him to return to a marquee spot and more money but we all know that would never happen. As a mariners fan losing one of the best players the aleague has seen in such a pathetic way is disappointing, frustrating and sucks balls, but i wish nothing but the best for micky and say thanks for the memories.
now Central Coast Mariners, i am always the first to leap to their defence when the tide of hate flows, but this one is a very bitter pill to swallow
