Sad to see Duke go. Hopefully the club gets a good transfer fee for him. Quite surprised J-League is calling. But good on him. This might just be the opportunity to get back in the Socceroos.

Our team next year will be very different. Unrecognisable.

Congrats duke well earned if goes through.
Will be fantastic for him as I reckon he has plateaued and maybe they getting him cheaper than 12 months ago.
Usually we would be spewing but I don't think mossy has been playing him right and it has effected his play. Although an offer from overseas maybe says otherwise

Must admit I'm surprised but good luck to him.
Shimizu isn't one of the leagues heavy hitters, just avoided relegation last season but usually mid table. Hope they play him in his preferred position and give him every chance to do well.

Well Bingham just upgraded to full contract as well so they knew this was coming and the championship quality striker never eventuated

There goes any hope of playing two upfront. Just for once it would be nice to sign more quality than we sell.

I'm happy for Mitch and agree with Wombat, deserves better - as he's clearly better than Juric - big loss.

Meh. No loss really. Either of the boys we have could do a job like duke. His greatest asset was his engine. No real composure in front of goal, & final touch is sometimes the ugliest thing you've ever seen. & he's not getting any better. He's shown no improvement as a player since he made this team.
Hopefully for him a move changes that.

Moss said in the post match Vernes has to have an op on his shoulder. With Duke possibly going he said he will have to go shopping. Williams might be on his way this week.

Word on the street (twitter) is that Ando is off to Sydney either this transfer window or end of season. Pretty safe to say he won't get a run for the rest of the season.
