Trent is one of my favourite ever Mariners.

Desperately hoping he's still got it after so many injuries.

Right footed, but is capable of playing on the left and inverting, particularly when playing higher up. I personally prefer him on the right though - he’ll get plenty of minutes there this season as storm’s not getting any younger

Inverted full backs are all the rage too. Especially with 3 at the back

2023 - Monty 55 scored 35 against GD 20
2024 - Jacko 49 scored 27 against GD 22

We did pretty well last year and most would consider Monty side more attackingly gifted

I think we can better this year but will need goals from every where again.

Loosing Niz and his assists will be a challenge as was replacing Torres and Tulio. We have a good base though which is a great start.

Makes it easier for the young keeper we choose as well.

This was my main concern. There was a bunch of goals there from guys who didn’t even play a full season. If we can replace even most of their goals we’ll be in a very good spot

Agree, with quality CB's he's still spry enough for RB. Maybe not full games but that's OK.
