Really - it depends on what MJ is doing as far as visa players is concerned. Paulsen is probably third in line at Bournemouth. Maybe he will go out on loan? Great place to live Terrigal!!

I went for a swim at Brighton on a hot day in summer, in 1995 (at that time the hottest summer since records began), and the water was bone-achingly cold.

That's if you could even get to the water clambering over all that sharp shingle.

I watched the Australia Cup draw last night and Harper and Hill were talking about it being a good opportunity for NPL clubs to play A-League teams as most of their squads would just be coming together and one of them said except the Mariners. They said words to the effect that we will pretty much have the same players. I don't know whether i heard it wrong or they know something i don't. Did anyone else see this?

They said words to the effect that we will pretty much have the same players. I don't know whether i heard it wrong or they know something i don't. Did anyone else see this?

I think we will have a number of announcements. In the last few weeks during the really heavy schedule MJ relied on few players. He has added Mauragis. With Danny retiring that means we have 14 players (that includes Max, Dan and Nizz and Farrell all have had rumours about them so possibly only 10 players) that that we know that MJ trusts and will play. With another heavy schedule ahead we need to get that number up markedly to around 20 - whether as starters or subs.

Yeah 10 days till contract expiries so late next week we should start hearing things.

And incase anyone missed it, MacArthur paid a transfer fee to bring Liam Rose back.

One thing I've wondered with contracts, do they stipulate in the contract that they'll get x games per season barring injury/suspension?
