ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

It all depends for Tulio.

Like many he came here to re-ignite his career. Like JC and Sammy he will know what we have given him.
If a worldie offer comes in - no doubt he needs to take it.
If only middling offers come in - we all know this next season he will be better again and would be worth seeing out, even for a lower salary, knowing that come January or the end of the season a worldie is almost certain.

I know it's a big call but I think Tulio is easily our best current player and is up there as one of our best ever. I don't feel he's hit his straps yet either and would love to see him go another season with us, hit full form, blow everyone away (especially our opponents) and then go straight into a top team for top money rather than a half step now.
I also hope this is the advice he is receiving.

I think (with no knowledge behind me, just reading between the lines) that the loan signing of Reec means Tulio will be gone. Would absolutely love to have him here this season but can blame him for leaving if a bigger paycheck / transfer was to come in.

I'm not getting drawn into any speculation at the moment, I panicked last year when we lost a good amount of experienced players and as it turned out that was some unnecessary concern. It's difficult as there is a lot of movement and noise at other clubs at the moment and for us so far it's all been outward other than Reec.

Reec is a good safe business decision, being loaned we may not be paying all his wage so he is a good squaddie option and helps the Academy out as other have mentioned.

Tulio was awesome and would love for him to stay but there are many other Tulio's out there waiting for their chance to prove themselves.

I can’t see a relatively junior player being an adequate replacement if Tulio goes. Alou for Cummings is already a stretch despite being a feel good story. That would leave Kaltak and Danny as the only older heads and that doesn’t seem like enough.
