How influential was Ken? Because didn't Dick shaft him?

Think Ken wasn't in agreement with some of the changes being made to the academy model so decided to retire .
Agree needs to be given a lot of credit with the development of many of the players who contributed to this year's success. e.g. Nizzy, Faz, Max, Harry, Sammy etc.

Ken defo involved with both. Had a good chat with him about his first impressions, particularly with niz. But correct, both wouldn’t have been here if not for Benny

Ken made massive contributions to our rebuild, but also rubbed against the grain for a lot of key people. Thankful to him for what he's done, but we can survive and thrive without him too.

On Sammy's fee - the quote was that it beats our previous transfer record of $1.2mil for Rostyn. Would image that it's not by heaps, but whatever the figure it's still impressive.

Sure he rubbed people the wrong way, including (especially) Alen, but the guy had/has a real knack for picking the right players. There’s a bit more to it that might eventually come out on a podcast; but we’ve done pretty well in the meantime!

Will Arnold has looked very good at RB for the academy. I’d have said James Bayliss, but, yknow…

With the inclusion of Paull in the academy side, Zoricic has switched to RB with Larson at LB and Arnold moved to defensive mid. He acquitted himself pretty well there last weekend too, so is obviously pretty versatile.
