ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I'm holding out hope it's not true.

Balard - happy for him to make the most of that pathway. He's ready and deserves it and supports our goals.

Niz - on a free to city would be a straight up anger making disaster. Even a free to an overseas league I could accept, but not this. I want the best for Nizzy and he has given us his all, but to city.....fu*k no.

If he does go to City, I'm laying it squarely at the feet of GA, without the international exposure, scouts would see him (unwarranted) as a risk.

He should have been heavily involved for years in the Australian development set up, it's a bit of a Rogic situation.

Yeah it's worry surely club can at least offer him something to to temp him to stay but as someone else has put up there seems to be interest by an Italian club so would prefer that over city if that's the case

Yes Maxi has signed OS.
Niz’ agency has Andres Clavijo as their head of football so i initially straight out dismissed the City rumour, and while I’m not panicking just yet I am mildly concerned Dave Lewis has doubled down on his initial article.
Transfer fee?

On the subject of Andres Clavijo being Nizzy's agent, how is that possible when he's also The Mariners Head Analyst?

I heard a minor fee.
Rich recently said that the deal with them is to give pathways back and forth (i.e. Barcellos) and that the deal is we give them players free or cheap but get a big percentage of their on-sell. He said they can sell the same player for 10x what we can based on the relative leagues reputation so if they sell Maxi we'd get a bigger fee return than if we sold him ourselves.
