Definitely academy. Played pretty much all 20s last season, 10 goals from 24 appearances (15 starts). Canberra product, was suuuper highly regarded by those in the know down there. Plays as a 10, capable as a 9. Very good technically, nice to watch on the ball. Suspect he will be heavily involved in the first grade squad this season.

To add to what Pete said, I looked him up when he was on the bench. Grew up in Czechia till about 12 I think. Said he found the football coaching very different.

Not surprised at all to see Edmondson on camera immediately on arrival. Has great media presence and the gift of the gab, all of which I think will be great for PR. However, performance is what he'll be judged by the fans on. Only a few week's ago he was in favour on a Carlisle podcast, any off pitch contribution is interesting but very much secondary to his contribution to the team on the pitch. Focus on the game and the team, you have the potential to do a massive job for us, deliver a very high standard in this league and get a ticket to a bigger club overseas. Fulfil your potential, we're all excited you're here and we're all behind you.
