I just don’t see it happening.
A) He isn’t that good
B) Still a visa player and nowhere near citizenship
C) our visa spots are full, yes we could possibly do an injury replacement for Moresche but is Ziggy worth that headache when he’s back?
D) the club should remember the game he was booed consistently- they were there too.

Now if he was a year off citizenship and would play for peanuts and hand write each member a personalised apology letter it might make some sense.

Has he secured AU citizenship I wonder? If so, he’d be a handy pick up at the right price? Whether he personally fits into the squad might depend on what happened behind the scenes when he departed and whether he retained any contact with team mates etc. You can bet he will say all the right things if he returns and I, for one, would welcome him…

It wouldn’t be on a time basis. Perhaps he’s been digging through the family tree if he did pick up an Aus passport.

That's certainly not great news. If we are losing Birighitti then we should at least get a fee. It will be hard to replace him as well, Sozer looks decent but is relatively untested at A-League level and we would want to bring in another keeper to really push him if we lose Birrighitti.
