3 year deal. Monty obviously thinks he can make something out of him
ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
Monty knows him from the academy so if anyone is going to get the best out of him it should be MontyIn Monty we trust.
Don't hold your breath. ?Jeeeee whiz next signing will be welcoming back ziggy hahahaha
Plus an extension for Birraz. Now - Garang and Faz please. And Matty is some role!!
by season end i was nearly demanding we given him an extensionLike everyone i am very happy with the Beni announcement. The longer the season went the better he got and turned into a fantastic signing.
In Monty we trust3 year deal says a lot. I was at the point of thinking I was happy he'd moved on after flopping when he left us, but he did play well initially coming from Monty and struggled under other coaches. A 3 year deal suggests Monty does believe he can bring out his potential and work ethic and if so provides another potential x-factor and future development sale.
I'm definitely in the Monty knows his trade camp and so 3 years gives me confidence that he's confident.
His main competition to get on the pitch was Thurgate, Penha and Mikeltadze wasnt it? Probably playing in the worst possible positions of that team to get more minutes.I’m sure injuries weren’t the reason he was barely sighted for an extremely average Jets team
I agree with the penha competition, but thurgate was deeper and Beka a #9.His main competition to get on the pitch was Thurgate, Penha and Mikeltadze wasnt it? Probably playing in the worst possible positions of that team to get more minutes.
Plus hes not going to be on massive money anyway.
My thoughts too. Good business if we can find anotherWorth noting that he is only 21 and is a dual English citizen. So a long term deal with a view to him going OS may be part of the plan.
