He fell off for the nix. Was good early and made an immediate impact, when he dropped off so did the team. There's a reason they didnt look to extend him.

I was veryyyy skeptical and even critical of Benny for a period last season but Geeze he shut me up and turned quite important for us. Very happy he’s locked down. No reason he can’t keep kicking on up levels next season.

I had my doubts about Beni early as many did, but I feel like he could become a bit of a cult hero/fan favourite

Was initially very sceptical of our signing of Beni. Was also a bit worried after his slow start to life as a Mariner.

But he more than proved my doubts wrong by the end of season. Deserves his new contract and should only improve from here.

Hopefully the season does start early as might give us an advantage early in season, as a more naturally young and fit team with a majority of the core ready to go and all know the plan to hit the ground running.

Rack up some points early and hopefully keep the momentum rolling!
