ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
Going OS might have been the reality check he needed after the initial fanfaref**king Silvera huh, last time he was here , some dipshit blew smoke up his arse and he split before being even vaguely ready ….I got faith in Monty , just none in Silvera or his manager
Unless Cy’s been bought or seeks an early release, he’s here next season. It’s been said before by many here. He had a heavily disrupted season because of injury and Covid. Monty rates him, just needs to stay fit and he’ll fully show his worth I reckon.Lets face it - if he had gone OS from NPL and flopped, then we nicked him back everyone would be excited. Sadly, stories of his attitude at the scum precede him. Also, he is soiled by having been a scummer.
He has to prove himself to CCM not the other way around.
I also have complete faith in Monty and his ability to put a rocket up his arse.
Replacement for CY?
I want to see Cy prove himself but I also want to plan for the worst and assume he won’t. There’s no excuse not to get the conditioning and strength work in now he knows what he’s up for in our league.Unless Cy’s been bought or seeks an early release, he’s here next season. It’s been said before by many here. He had a heavily disrupted season because of injury and Covid. Monty rates him, just needs to stay fit and he’ll fully show his worth I reckon.
Yeah so far I don't where Silvera fits in the team, sub probablyGarang and Beni on the wings so Silvera could be a sub winger with Ruhs.
To me he may be a Moresche type replacement while he recovers.Yeah so far I don't where Silvera fits in the team, sub probably
It’s exactly what has been recently suggested we do… very smart business indeed if it works out. Looks like we are learning from past mistakes AND planning ahead.. good signs ?My thoughts too. Good business if we can find anothersuckerclub to drop a couple of hundred k on him… again
The beers in Bali may help with that.Cy just needs an extra 10 kgs.
Agree with that. I think he’s got talent and heaps of potential. I liked him from the get go. Sweet kid too.I think people are being a bit harsh on Cy.
Been rewatching our season on Paramount the last few weeks and he was very good early on. I think covid and injury had an impact on him and he will get back to his best with a full pre-season behind him.
???The beers in Bali may help with that.
