ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Running second until last game (where form in last 3 games has been mixed) and we swap out 4 players in the transfer window. A sign that we are always looking to improve and players must ship up or ship out or a possible sign that all players on notice which could adversely impact team morale and have players play conservatively to protect their spot? Thoughts? I would have thought 4 changes was quite a lot for a side travelling fairly well. That said signing of Theosaurus and perhaps DWH has been pretty positive…

The additions have been a much needed left footed defender and a cheaper option for Ayongo plus a replacement for Ruhs that can play right across the front and can deliver a set piece.
If the guys that come in buy into our ethos it looks a more balanced squad short maybe 1 CB.

Are you devastated at losing any of those 4 players? Are the incoming players an upgrade on the outgoing? Answers itself.

Devastated, no. Are they an upgrade? If you are confident to make that call now, great. For me, only time will tell.

Theo is 100% already an upgrade. McGarry isn’t an upgrade upon anyone, he’s a desperately needed addition in an area we were badly short in.
DWH on paper is an upgrade but also a wait and see but I personally think he’ll prove it quite quickly.

Fair position, but that given, what we do know is Aquilina is not a left back. Neither is Roux. Neither is Hall. Neither is Steele and we've been unbalanced and struggled badly without an LB, (there's multiple) but I'd say proper cover for Faz is the number one reason we dropped points last 3 games. And LB is always a lot harder to cover than RB, so I think in terms of Aquilina/McGarry we're in front.

I'm seemingly one of the only ones who rated Ruhs at all, but can't argue he's been performing well or that Wenzel Halls isn't much more proven player at this level.

Kelechi... we never saw him. So he's moot for me.

Ayongo, worked hard but honestly he was so easily contained by every defence he came up against that Theo seems a lot more dangerous and certainly capable of creating more.

Came off the bench for the second half of the academy game at the weekend, picked him up from Mt Druitt. Young, energetic, and quick number 9 who also looks like he could play wide. Got into some good positions at the weekend. Very, very raw.
Cool, that's exciting!
