ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Ayongo and Ruhs gone. One could form the view that if you don’t deliver from the get-go for Monty and co it matters little the length of the deal you signed a couple of months ago (which was trumpeted loudly by the club).

I wish them well. For what it’s worth, I think Ayongo would have been better with more time…

I want everyone we sign to do well but it’s not always going to be the case and that’s life. I like we are being decisive not like previous years where they would stay and we hope they would leave at the end of the season. The window is all about trying to improve your squad so here is hoping we have. With some good performances I’ll get over my personal dislike for Denzel Wenzel. It’s up to him now to perform.

Not sure it's the get go, bloke was given 440 minutes over 15 games, for 2 goals in a 6 minute period in a game we were completely dominant. wish he had more time but time ain't what we have, I don't know how he holds DWH and Moresche out when he comes back.

I dont think its just delivering from the get go but you need at least 4 of your visa players to be nailed on starters unless you have top tier locals across multiple spots like City do. I dont believe Ayongo offered anything a local player on a modest wage couldnt. That isn't sustainable. Neither was Kelechi barely playing.

I thought Ruhs was workable but if hes not happy with more competition for minutes, and i get why he wouldnt be, then maybe it's best to part ways.

Teams in the top 4 have standards and both were one dimensional but thought Rhus would be better than he was. His lack of technique caught up with him the more opportunities he got. We never looked good with him unfortunately

I think DWH ability with the ball is miles ahead of Rhus and Ayongo and should fit well with our team.
