I remember Eddie Bosnar absolutely smashing one from about 45 metres, but don't remember him scoring.

Seem to remember Pondeljak and Hutcho getting one or two and certainly remember one cracker from Jedi. Suspect however that Ollie probably scored the most. He got about three in the last two seasons and I remember watching his free kicks with as much expectation as hope.

That, of course, will be an unpopular recollection.

Jedi, Jedi, use the force - yeah gets my vote too.

Glen Trifiro was pretty decent as well. I vaguely recollect him getting hurriedly subbed on after we had been awarded a free kick in one game, and scoring.

Pedj had a brief spell where he morphed into Lionel Messi at free kicks but it only lasted about a month

Hoole had a good patch where I reckon he did that in a handful of games. Then he went back to being crap but he did it.

I heard Tulio caused quite the stir when asked to take a set piece at the end of training. First attempt just wide, second attempt whipped it over the wall with pace and into the top corner.

Found out earlier today that our new GK coach is Portuguese also and was also one of the GK coaches at Sporting Lisbon. So may have also helped get Tulio here..

are we becoming the Aussie version of wolves? (Wouldn’t complain, love my Portuguese footy)

Really nice friendly guy too. I thought he was Spanish when I met him but they all sound alike don't they.
