ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
Forgot about Lynden... Add him and this becomes a very strong squad. It’s actually crazy how deep our front and back line look.
I agree the above is in the ballpark, but think we potentially have a second 11 of
sozer
Kuzevksi Hall Triantis storm
Steel Bayliss
Kuol Ruhs moresche Tulio
As many have mentioned, It’s really the midfield we lack depth. I would really love for the rumours of Jordan Lynden to be true. Man he would round out this squad.
I suspect the Lynden thing was horse shit, guess we'll see.Forgot about Lynden... Add him and this becomes a very strong squad.
I argue the second side is stronger than some of the squads we fielded pre Stad
I would agree. Moresche is probably looking at Feb/Mar but think Kaltak was signed to cover him.I don’t expect Moresche to play much of the season and at best perhaps the last month or two as he suffered the injury late in the last season. I feel that is why Kaltak was signed as an injury replacement, why bother if Moresche is back in say January with the WC break.
He was but Kaltak will have a good part of the season to show what he has and who knows by the time Moresche is due back we may have a spare visa spot. You would have to think this is the plan, it's refreshing to see whilst we provide opportunities for players we also have some contingency plans in place to keep the team strong.I would agree. Moresche is probably looking at Feb/Mar but think Kaltak was signed to cover him.
Cummings job is to poach and be on the end of assists, which is his bread and butter. As we know already, he is great at dropping back to collect and create too so I expect some rotation from the mass of wingers/forwards who have speed and power that we'll field.
244 in attack as Montyball is all about getting the ball forward as quickly as possible. You need tremendous athletes who can also play football
Funny how everything comes back into fashion. Graham Taylor will be smiling
Yep with Kelechi and kaltak very good at long balls forward from what I’ve seen so far. It’s the game plan.Verticality is where it is at baby. Fast and direct. As FFC Mariner said you need athletes.
Is why Arnie will get towelled at the WC. Getting the ball out wide is too slow and crosses from there are low percentage.
As is VukaYep with Kelrchi and kaltak very good at long balls forward from what I’ve seen so far. It’s the game plan.
We haven’t been a set piece threat for what seems like forever. Would be nice to think we have a chance at set pieces.I heard Tulio caused quite the stir when asked to take a set piece at the end of training. First attempt just wide, second attempt whipped it over the wall with pace and into the top corner.
I seem to remember Ollie scored a few.We haven’t been a set piece threat for what seems like forever. Would be nice to think we have a chance at set pieces.
Who?I seem to remember Ollie scored a few.
He did however I don't think he had other teams overly concerned, someone like Penha last season who makes other teams think twice about giving away free kicks close to the box is something we need. It's been far to easy in the past to concede free kicks against us and to not be overly concerned by the threat.I seem to remember Ollie scored a few.
Trust me, we’re going to be in awe of his technical abilityI heard Tulio caused quite the stir when asked to take a set piece at the end of training. First attempt just wide, second attempt whipped it over the wall with pace and into the top corner.
You are Mario Tulio's mum and I claim my five poundsTrust me, we’re going to be in awe of his technical ability
Interesting question who was our best... my vote goes to Jedi...We haven’t been a set piece threat for what seems like forever. Would be nice to think we have a chance at set pieces.
