Just checked - to fly from Poland to Sydney looks like a 56 hour $6,500 flight with 2 stops with the exciting prospect of 2 weeks locked in a hotel room at the end of it (that the club also has to pay for)
That assumes the flight happens of course.

Certainly looks like we left our recruiting too late (to save $$ most likely) and got caught. If we go into this season with our current squad, we are completely f**ked

And if you'd heard any of the stories on ABC radio the other week, it's not only the flight.
You have to have a place in quarantine lined up too.
The people in San Francisco had the flight booked and a quarantine place.
The flight was delayed due to engine failure. Because it was after midnight it meant they lost their quarantine spot too.
They were told to go home and keep phoning for another spot.
I believe some people on the delayed flight actually made it after the feds stepped in.
But there's heaps of stories about people being booted from flights at the last minute.

The Bozanic signing got a hell of a lot of goodwill from us all l am sure but that's dissipated now. Left the visa signings too late and are now going into the season understrength.

Of course I'll be there every week but it's just deflating having no confidence going into a season yet again. I want to be positive but god damn it's hard to be.

If it's untrue, surely the club would shoot it down immediately?
Absolutely no excuse for the cone of silence.
