Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Thought I’d jump online to see some positive signing rumours - all I find is

From the mariners members page :

This morning I sadly witnessed Tom Hiariej and his partner entering Gosford Station laden with suitcases and other luggage. His friend who had dropped them off told me that Tom was off, and leaving the Coast for good. He also said that no contract offer had been made by CCM at all. VERY SAD, Tommy H gone!!!!!!

He is going back to Holland to play for one of his old clubs.

He told me his manager sent an email to Shaun 3 weeks ago....."does my player have a future at CCMFC or should he be looking for a new club?".....the club didnt even have the decency to answer.......must be the same email address that Scum used regarding Millar!!

I shrugged and told him, i'm sorry they are just muppets at the club now. Its not a word i would ever use in a professional situation but i'm so frustrated and what other word can you use to describe them apart from Roget's selection for "inept".

I don't have a problem with a new manager wanting to choose his own players. However, a player coming to the end of his contact in what is now less than two weeks needs to be kept in the loop. I will be sad to see him go. Watching him and Baro together on the pitch is one of the few highlights of the last couple of seasons.

f**king beyond livid.

Agree that a new coach should pick his own players. Hey, Mulvey got to pick 14 odd.
But f**king honestly, when your team has been one of the biggest shambles in league history and you’re still lucky enough to have a couple players even the top sides would love to have and they for some crazy reason want to stay and help... common logical sense to 99.9% of football people in the world would say “yep here’s a contract, cheers”
And to apparently not even make contact is to spit in the face of a true professional.

The silence from the club is deafening. What are they doing 9-5 Mon-Fri?

That’s not on. Nothing ruder than saying nothing at all. At worst if you aren’t sure then say that, let the person know there’s a few things in the air at the moment and you can’t answer immediately. Even a timely no but thank you for your service is better than nothing.

Rowles and Murray renewed without a new manager
