I think if Birraz is what we can get, then l am content with it. Judging him on an error made 5 years ago is a bit harsh imo. Surely his experiences at Swansea and Breda plus training with Galekovic has made him a much better keeper.

Ultimate there’s only so many ways to solve the puzzle where we want to bring in a decent striker and keeper with 1 visa spot available. Of the local keeper options available he would be top or very close to the top of the pile. I’m not sure anything more is realistic. If you use a visa slot where are you left looking for a striker? Overpaying for Juric?

I suspect Eugene is why he is moving on. He never got a look in at Adelaide because Eugene was ahead of him . Same at City. Maybe too much history between them with Eugene seeing him as a sidekick. I definitely think he is better than Bouzanis so don't understand why he is the one being released. Unless it is his choice.

Birrighitti is a far better option than Pearce, Glover, Bray, or Cisak. More talented than the first 3, and doesn’t have the attitude issues of Cisak. Would be a good pick up
