Ended up 3-0. Trialist Adam McGeorge from New Zealand got the third. Pellegrino was very impressive, Baird not so much. McDonald still adapting to the narrow left mid position played by Olli, but looked more comfortable at LB.

McBreen again looked useless most of the time.

Sainsbury filled in for Wilko next to Patrick.

Sub Bernie hit a screamer just before the whistle that the BCD keeper did very well to parry.

It was fricking freezin!

If McGeorge does sign then we will have McGlinchey (Wee-mac), McBreen(Big-Mac), McDonald, and McGeorge. Who gets called 'macca'?

Also interesting to note the first half formation was the diamond 442 and second half was a 433. Will be interesting to see what Arnie goes with this season.

First half:

------------------ Pasfield
Pedj - Sainbury - Dutchie - Rose
------------------ Griffiths
WeeMac------------------- B. McDonald
------------------ Pellegrino
------McBreen ------------ Baird

Second half:

----------------------------- Pasfield
Brady Smith - Sainsbury - Golec - B. McDonald
----------------- McGeorge ----------- Hutch
----------------------------- Pellegrino
WeeMac------------------------------------------- Trialist
----------------------------- McBreen

Lots of swapping but that was generally it. Bernie came on for McBreen around 75 mins. Couple of other trialists came on too but don't know their names. Duke and Matty Lewis played for Blacktown.

Interesting to see Sainsbury play the whole game. I say that because I heard some hear-say at the Olyroos game on the weekend that Wilko's Chinese club is very keen to keep him on the pay roll. Could just be a coincidence... not my area of expertise.

Thanks for those line ups as I was wondering who some of those players were...

Tho that McDonald had a reasonable game ... one thing he seems to have is he is hard ... he got hit a couple of times and held the ball ...

McGeorge .... anyone got any details about him played HHHHHHHHHmmmmm not quite sure... but if a Trialist deserves another couple of runs...

Pellegrino had a excellent game and IMO was best on park... will push Musty hard for the No 10 run on side...

Keeper did what was required when he needed to...

Spoke to Matty Ryan at the match and he said he will be fine for the season opener...

McBreen & Baird did not set the world on fire ... IMO Berine needs to start ... going further Matty S, Duke & Berrine are all ahead of McBreen & Baird ...

Atomic Interesting ... comment concerning Wilko ... any news on Kwasie as well... but on Wilko my guess he is on reasonable coin ... not sure how pushed we are for cash ... but interesting comment...
