    ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

    If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

    ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

FFC, what are you doing up this late? I thought this hour was for hopeless cases like me that have to do shiftwork to make a dollar?

Congrats for Fulham's win on the weekend, btw.

I thought McCabe was already signed sealed and delivered. Didn't the "Mariners Trust" and not the Mariners purchase the land in Tuggerah? And isn't the Mariners Trust McCabe and Turnbull?

Interesting to read about leasing out commercial space. Thats another revenue stream that will fund it.

Land = equity
Rents = cashflow to service.

some very clever people running this club IMHO

Hopefully Central Coast Football can operate their offices out of the complex as well. Could be some brilliant synergies there and the first step to have all representative teams playing in the top grade possible, including the mens playing in the NSWPL.

That would ultimately give year round football for some of the more promising youth players.

Well said.

That also allows for hte "office complex" at Pluim to be demolished and the ground get a pleasanter look.

NSWPL is an absolute must for football on the CC and the Mariners as well. Rather than go off to different clubs, they get more and more games as a unit which will stand them in good stead when they make the HAL.

In NSWPL, the opportunity exists to give game time to seniors and get in some experience to play alongside the yoof.

I look forward to winter evenings at our boutique stadium watching the next generation and some old favourites going round.

Bring it on

Question.  Now that the COE is a goer and we are going to be flooded with yoof of star quality does that mean we will be able to pay for say only 16 better class of A League players and draw from this pool of future legends

Please please please make the boutique stadium capable of being upgraded to 15,000.

top work all involved
Nobody has officially said anything but I'd be very surprised if they weren't thinking this is where we'll be playing home games  in 10 or 20 years time.

Union and League won't need to rent it out.....they'll have Bluetongue(and they're welcome to it) !
this pic seems to suggest there isnt room for the 2-3k ground to be expanded. Maybe a flat pack stadium on rest of the land.

So from next year we have to put up with a bunch of pommie players who probably dont know where Australia is.Next the Mariners will be building an immigration centre (of Excellence)

You're thinking of Americans. :)
I'm pretty sure the poms know where we are. We've been thrashing them at sport for 100+ years.

Perhaps Kevin Rudd is the mystery investor? After all, he is overseas all the time...and if Lyall can convince him that it an immigration centre then billions of dollars will pour in! May have to sign a few Afghani/Iraqi/Sudanese to overseas spots though (not such a bad thing)
