Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Agree. He had so many shots on target and was denied by some great blocks and saves. On another night he would have got 4. I thought it was a great performance from him.
If the target was the keeper then I`d have to agree with you.
A decent striker (or Kwas on his day) would have scored 5 goals.

He also laid on 3 gift goals for others, only one was scored from( Musti's sensational goal). Watch the replay to see how it was put it on a plate for him.

Wombat summed him up well, some flashes of brilliance mixed with some frustrating stuff, but things were always happening. We definitely look more dangerous when he is on the park.

Watch the game and not the girls.
Ancient - i`m flattered that you remember my post from over 12 months ago but alas there were no girls there & I did watch the game.

Just a couple of points though.
1) A goal is scored when the referee awards it.
2) For Musti`s goal Kwas passed to space approx 25-30 yards from the
goal.Musti had at least 4 defenders between him & the goal line.
His shot was a superb, controlled strike.(unlike anything Kwas
attempted)& was hardly a gift.

I agree with what Wombat wrote but I interpreted it another way.
The flashes of brilliance were when he recieved the ball or got into position to receive it,the frustrating stuff was what he did with it when he got it.

It`s a game of opinions.

It's just the best situation to hope for - win and get Adelaide as the next opponent - surely our best chance from the teams we could come up against in a quarter final.

Bozanic, Bojic and Hearfield all out;Gallagher already released to Victory - line-up (by my reckoning) includes 8 players who are 20 or under - Caceres, Duke and MacDonald are all there.
