ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Mariner stuff not worthy of a whole thread

- HARRY STEELE FUN FACT -

St Kilda AFL Club havent won a grand final since 1966,

If Harry wins the A League Grand final with the mariners, it won't be the first time that St Kilda's Captain has not won a grand final before their Cousin. (Jack Steele)

Jack Reiwoldt won 3 grand finals with Richmond while his Cousin Nick Reiwoldt was Captain of St Kilda and never won a grand final

I support from afar and many of you closer to the club will already know this, but still nice to hear.

In a video meeting today my boss noted my Mariners background and said "probably not the best time to bring this up because it may derail the meeting, but I wonder what the Mariners fan would think if he knew I have Monty in my contacts?"

Needless to say it derailed the meeting. Turns out she used to work with a sports science company that Monty brought in to do some work with the academy.

She's worked in many different sports and knows people ranging from AFL coaches, Luc Longley and other basketball alumni, hockey internationals, golfers etc etc. She said Monty was one of the best people she's ever worked with. A genuine, respectful, intelligent person.

Good timing of the CC express advocate to do an article on Troy Hearfield because he got done breaking into a home in Coffs Harbour.
Piss poor journalism to link a guy back to the club, who played for us what 11-12years ago? And “played for us” is even a stretch.

You’d think a Coast based media outlet would continue the hype train right now.

They are trying to ride on the hype and media attention we're getting to boost their shitty story no one reads.

Don't think they are coast based any more.
Rupert centralised his local papers.
They always have been an NRL rag.
Also. Hearfield is the only Mariner in history to score against a European cup winning side
