ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Mariner stuff not worthy of a whole thread

It's live on TikTok, but I tried watching it without an account on my PC and saw a black screen with music looping in the background.

I refuse to sign up or download that garbage, so I guess I'm missing the awards.

What a stupid decision to broadcast A-League awards on a platform like that.
I think that's only the red carpet. The actual event isn't being broadcast at all.

How the f**k does cumdog not even make the top 5 for the votes of the Johnny Warren medal.
These things usually favor a player who is a consistent stand out for their team. Goodwin carried Adelaide for much of the season, Borrello was the wanderers star player, Jmac the focal point of a very potent attack and golden boot winner, O'Shea a stand out for a pretty average roar side. There's a pattern there that doesn't fit with our philosophy of everyone digging deep which results in sometimes a defender or midfield player stealing the show. You could also argue Cummings despite a great season could have had quite a few more goals and that might have improved his standings.

This and I think if you have one player that is stand-out above everyone else every week, they will attract the votes, but a team like the Mariners usually have a few players performing, or different players each week having a great game, and then they take votes off each other.
