ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

My favorite song is probably everywhere we go. Not because its such a great song, but  its so loud and everyone gets involved.

Are you in year 7? ;)

I agree lets get rid of these school carnival chants and adopt some proper ones i.e. everywhere we go, and i really f**kin hate "we hate you cos youre from *****" chants. club songs and a culture etc will need a generation or so to actually implant them in the young and develop the fanbase but we gotta to start somewhere. it might not be creative but rip offs of famous chants from Europe seem to do the trick or just sing to tunes and add in mariners or central coast like the great escape etc. if we do happen to adopt a YNWA style club song anytime soon, the words would need to be played on the video as the song goes as thats the only way it will catch on in the entire stadium.

I personally enjoy "Mariners fans in the stands, if you hear us clap your hands"

Maybe with the Sydney Kings now gone, these "chants" will slowly die.

On the other hand there could be more Amreicanised kids attending CCM games enjoying the crap like "Let's Go Mariners" etc.

As someone who is occasionally known to sing "Everywhere we go", yeah, people are getting sick of it to a certain extent.

I agree that we should have a stack of new chants.

Here's a tip; Yellowbeard has an inbuilt foghorn. The man is seriously loud. Get him singing chants, and they WILL be heard.

I'd like to start a Mariners version of "Join in the Chorus", as used by North Melbourne AFC, but it's probably too long.

Just start 'em in the Kendall and take it from there.

Is "Who do we sing for? We sing for Mariners" off the agenda?

We do need to develop new chants, but people need to grow some balls on actually not be scared to try them out in the bay and Kendall Bar!  Especially if they are short and catchy, anything too long is just a waste, the best chants are quick and easy (just like Bear)

It takes more than that, it takes a capacity to actually listen out for these new songs and do all you can to learn and join in the chant.
Many a new chant has fallen on its ass in the Kendall Bar because people would rather yarn with their mates and watch instead of sing, and leave the poor bugger startin the new song to finish up and go back to his beer with the chant never to be heard again.
