ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Our decision to let him go is going to bite us on the arse big time. Bad enough that he'll be primed for big games against us, it'll be with the scum. Not going to enjoy this.

He's on the way back from a knee injury so he's a complete unknown at this stage. May recover his form from years ago, but probably unlikely.

As nice a guy as he seems I really don't understand all the love. We played very poorly when he was in the side, for whatever reason, and we improved when he was out injured.

Perhaps there was a valid reason for Victory to release him....he's not as good as he once was?

He was shit for us in the big games against his former clubs Adelaide and Victory; I think that is part of the reason not to offer him a contract.

10x better off the field than on it. Our team & setup didn't help.

Hopefully he never makes it over half way because if he gets near the box there might be some trouble.

What will be the reception. Would have to be one of the most loved players to ever where a Jets shirt

What's your point? I loved the bloke while he was with us but he's not anymore. He's gone to the scum so my care-factor for him is now zero, quality human being or not.

My point is he is a quality human being and I hope he goes well in his career. I personally will stand and clap him when he enters the stadium (as I know other will). This doesn't mean I don't want the mariners to win. I am not one dimensional.

I won't cheer him but I'd definitely clap him and pat him on the back if I bump into him.

Impossible not to like the bloke.
