The point I was making of it being a dead rubber was not to rest players for the sake of resting them. It was to play people that you may not otherwise in the hope that they play themselves into form.

Nik on form is the best striker in the HAL. Unfortunately we have seen little of that. I think more game time is needed.

Agree - also do yellow cards get taken back to zero after this round or continue on? If they go back to zero we would rest Pedj etc...

That's steep. Just another advantage for the top two teams, since if you win the semi and go straight through, that's one less game and therefore less likely to have players miss the big one.

TBH we have enough numbers there already if those numbers choose to go at it for 90 minutes. We've been very loud at times, and not only when we're winning, but too often one group gets discouraged, and then the next pack drops off and then everyone just gives up.

Everyone from the leaders to the whingers to the drunks to the hool-wannabes to the kids to the part timers to the player-haters to the people who go woooooo need to put everything else aside and walk into the stadium thinking: "NO MATTER WHAT - I'M GOING TO BE VOCAL FOR 90 MINUTES" and worry about dissecting the result later.

We're the team who can come back from 3-0 down so we're never out of it, no matter whether we're playing sexy or shit football. And surely a shit atmosphere is going to contribute to a lethargic performance. So there's no excuses.

As Mick said would have to include Porter and Sasho in the rested group as they are both on 4 yellows at the moment. In this regards it makes sense to make sure they can play in the semis

If we rest the players playing rubbish then we will be resting almost all the team
