ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Turn the Northern End into a VfB Stuttgart style terrace where seats are easily installed/uninstalled, depending on what event is to be held.

Get us some sort of a roof whilst we're at it.

We have half a bay that stands, and half of that sings. We dont need terraces.

1. Fix the pitch
2. Rip out the Bears seats
3. Build roof over bays 14 - 18 (extend say half way, cheap and do able)
4. Charge more for bay seats under cover
5. Fix the pitch

i would just "yellow" the stadium up a bit here and there, make it feel more like a mariners home ground and keep the pitch in top shape.

why do we need to keep the palm trees ? personally i would make rather have another stand.

Palm trees are heritage listed (I think) and their retention is part of the planning consent (I think).

Personally, I would slip out at night and poison them. Then build a covered stand. But thats just me.

i hope you have a semi trailer to carry all that poison - theyre pretty big trees.

and Serious, during Quantum of Solace tonight i thought "hey actually Serious is on the money here. If the whole north end is concrete terrace, then everyone is forced to stand!"

I love the Palm trees. Looking out over that vista with a coldie waiting for the game to start is pretty magic.

I used to slepp all over England visiting shitty cities (and often shitty grounds...Craven cottage was poxy but nice Greenpole) following Leeds United and there ain't nothing like Blue toungue in that part of the world!!

Maybe signage on acceptable behaviour?
I've generally been impressed with our fans behaviour but I'm not keen on returning with my wife and kids after some of the language yelled out by other mariners fans tonight.(eg F*cking P*ssy", "Ref is a F*cking W*nker")

The club needs 'bums on seats' but if it isnt somewhere I feel I can take my kids, I'll buy Foxtel or go to the movies.

I assume you wont go to any other sports at all then?

FFS, toughen the f**k up, its a football ground. Pay for seats down the side with the other mutes.

+1

Another reason why bay tickets should be sold with a warning. For those who don't want to hear that, (although i sit on the sideline and can let the language fly) dont sit there!

One can not expect to go anywhere near Gosford and not hear that sort of language.

It isn't ideal, it is the reality.

I would prefer there be no foul language any where on Earth. IF that doesn't change, I might just have to buy foxtel.

How to do up Bluetongue??

Arrange the seats to say Masterfoods.
