    ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

    ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Grand Final - The Mighty CCM vs WSW

finally retired

What are people expecting our supporter ratios going to be?

I'm thinking outnumbered 3-1. 10,000 Coasties. 30,000 Westies, and 5,000 neutrals...
Or maybe a 28K to 12K split. But very hard to see us getting more down than 12k isn't it?

I know some families and supporters are having their own get together/parties etc.
I'm thinking maybe even 4 or 5 to 1.
Quite a few people I know who normally go to Bluetongue, couldn't get tickets, and other friends (and relo's) I know who are WSW fans told me they have tickets in the "Mariners End" because they couldn't get them anywhere ele.

Yes we are members but having to spend $2000 on the car in the last month and another $500 next week means we cant afford to go. So that is 6 less mariners supporters.

Yep - normally go to Bluetongue, but not a member.... tried at 9:20am on Tuesday with Mates #, no joy - trying for three tix then, but only singles available.
So I tried again on Wed, no tix available at 9am on the dot, not even singles :(

Not sure that you work from a 45k total as a percentage of seats are reserved for corporates and stadium members - maybe 5,000 - 10,000?

Sounds as though we were buying at close to the same rate as they were, although they do have extra bays. From memory people on here thought that we had around 15k for the the GF against the scum so if we get close to that we may not be too outnumbered...

Nope, probably 11-12K .. the decision to 'move' the GF was a very demoralising one

I think we will have the same again, with say 28K Drive-Bys, 2K neutrals and lots of vacant member/corporate seats.

KING HENRY V:
This story shall the good man teach his son;
And Crispin Crispian shall ne'er go by,
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be remember'd;
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition:
And gentlemen in England now a-bed
Shall think themselves accursed they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day.

Let's f**king do this.

There are 10 of us going and I could have taken another 10 if I could have got tickets.

As it was we are all in the same bay but none of us in the same row. I'd be surprised if any drive bys were able to snap up our tickets.

I expect we will have around 10-12k.

I reckon we easily had 15k v scum Kev.

Sad to see great supporters like Sally unable to make it to the game and there are a lot of Coasties bitterly disappointed they couldn't get tickets.

Thanks for your kind words Wombat. A long time fellow admirer of Gumps :). I guess its part of the joy of having a family that we have to think of expenses of a whole family to go to this. But I'll be cheering from the Coast and hope all of the rest of the supporters of this fantastic team have the best time.

The FFA have announced that a limited number of tickets will be going on sale at 1pm - sales are limited to 4 seats per person.
