ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Thought I'd start a topic
Any teams news ?
Any more 'significant' announcements for us ?
Hope to see more of Rogic

They've actually been pretty decent imo and are ridiculously unlucky to be footing the table I think. I'd rather be playing many teams higher up.

This should be an interesting battle. They have thrown everything at us in one game, and then parked the bus in the other. But I think this time we will be too strong for them.

They're a much better team than their results suggest. we are good, but the standard of the league is very even -a point is almost never a bad result and I'd take one tonight.

Call me lazy but I'm giving this one a miss. Got mates over tonight, and Skilled is a joyless enough footballing experience even when the weather is good! I can think of many things I would rather do on a Friday night than sit in a damp Skilled Park drinking tepid XXXX Gold watching a match with less atmosphere than an U/12's training session.

The GF is the weekend after I get back from the UK, I'll be going if we make it that far.

Do you think Arnie will give Pelle a run on the wing? I know he didn't cut it at #10, but I had the impression he played wide at Perth. Seeing we'll be missing Ollie for a few matches maybe see if he can do a job out there.
How many cards after 5 leads to a 2nd suspension?

Rogic unavailable???, what does that even mean, he has tickets to a foo fighters concert or something :/

He came in last week so Musti could be rested. I wouldn't read too much into him being dropped. He will get another chance next week as Musti has been called up for the Olyroos as a replacement for Antonis.

So looking forward to next week we are losing matty, musti and Ollie, while Brisbane lose Nichols... Not bad I guess considering our depth

They won't have to water the pitch at least with all the rain they have had up there. Given the state that the ground is likely to be in I expect some sloppy play. Hopefully we can beat them and keep the gap on Brisbane.

It certainly will be interesting losing Ollie, Matt and Musty. I have confidence in Arnie to make the right selections.

I read that as Rogic is out (just dropped from the squad) and Hutch is unavailable for selection due to suspension...

Rescheduled to 22nd February This doesn't make things any easier!!!

So now we have 14 games in 63 days from 4th Feb thru April 6th. Then if we lose the major semi-final we will actually have 17 games in 77 days from 4th Feb thru April 20th.

As an added bonus we lose our Olyroos for an extra game.

Already re-watched last weeks game

Fan safety... alright just text them both and say please go home or to a pub and watch it - and then play and televise the game!
Oh, and can we please change our name to the CC dry dockers or something? Be nice to get through a season without a bloody wash out cancellation wouldn't it.
